2016 Game Changers Awards

About the Game Changers Awards

Presented by TD, the Game Changers Awards recognize exceptional Halifax businesses, individuals and organizations that demonstrate leadership in hiring youth, helping them grow professionally, and inspiring others to take action on keeping youth in our city and province.

Last year, we were pleased to announce that we received over 90 nominations for the first year of the Game Changers Awards. A total of eight awards were presented on October 19, 2016 to deserving companies, organizations and individuals. 9 finalists and 3 winners were chosen for both the Best Youth Employer (small, medium, large size businesses) and Best Co-op Employer (small, medium, large size businesses). 3 finalists were chosen for the Super Connector award and 2 for Connector Organization.

The Best Youth Employer and Best Co-op Employer awards were judged by representatives from our sponsors and partners. The Connector award finalists and winners were selected by the Connector Program team.

Below are videos featuring youth employer finalists, the winners of each award and the full nomination list.
