As Regional President, Roger Howard oversees the sales and market management of Atlantic Canada. This includes setting the direction, developing strategy and managing overall performance and delivery of RBC’s products and services to more than 800,000 personal and business clients in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
Since joining RBC in 1996, Roger has held a wide variety regional and national office positions, with a concentration in Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Advice (Contact) Centres. Prior to assuming his current role in 2014, he was Vice President of Client Advice Centres, where he was responsible for the bank’s five centres, located in Moncton, Montreal, Mississauga, Winnipeg and Vancouver.
Roger completed his MBA in 2004 at the Schulich School of Business, York University. Prior to his graduate studies, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto.
A believer in community, Roger has served on various not for profit and business boards in Hamilton, Burlington and Guelph, Ontario. He is currently on the board of directors for the QEII Hospital Foundation and Greater Halifax Partnership and is co-chair of the Halifax WE Day Committee.
Roger resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia with his wife and three children.
