Nada Halaweh

Program Coordinator, Connector Program

As a Program Coordinator for the Connector Program, Nada Halaweh connects recent and local graduates, immigrants and newcomers (Connectees) with businesses and community leaders in their industry (Connectors). Through these face-to-face connections, Connectees can expand their professional network and discover career opportunities. This not only increases labour market and community integration, but also creates a welcoming community where the world’s talent can find great opportunities, engaged employers and resources for career advancement.

Originally from Palestine, Nada was born in Kuwait, and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. She studied Nutrition in Public Health at UC Davis in California for 2 years, then decided to move to Halifax in 2014 Halifax to study Public Relations and Marketing at Mount Saint Vincent University. Nada has a passion for traveling, salsa dancing, food, culture and building relationships. After moving from country to country, Nada is happy to be settling in one of Canada’s Ocean Cities.
