Renée LeVangie

Digital Product Strategist

Renée LeVangie, originally from Antigonish County, moved to Halifax to study Marketing at Saint Mary’s University. Through Co-op and continued part-time work, she worked with the SMU Business Development Centre (now the Entrepreneurship Centre), doing research and writing with the First Nations Consulting Team. After earning her Bachelor of Commerce, Renée worked abroad teaching English in South Korea and delivering entrepreneurial workshops in Ghana. She then worked in Nicaragua at an international charity, managing the program and eventually doing business development and external relations. Renée joined the Halifax Partnership in early 2017 as a Connector Program Coordinator. She now works with the Marketing and Communications Team, managing the development of a mobile Connector Program App and supporting organizational-wide digital strategy.

Renée is a culture and travel enthusiast inspired by people making the world, and our city, a better place to live, work, and play. If you can’t find her at a networking event, she is probably out enjoying everything Halifax has to offer, volunteering with any number of organizations, or discussing all of life’s complexities. Reach out if you’d like to grab a coffee.
