Halifax had another strong year for GDP growth in 2016. The Conference Board of Canada (CBoC) estimated the city's real GDP grew to $18.6 billion in 2016, an increase of 2.2%.

GAME CHANGERS: 2017 Best Super Connector

The Game Changers Awards Gala recognizes exceptional Halifax businesses and Connectors who hire youth, provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities and inspire others to take action in retaining youth. This year’s gala took place on October 30. Nine awards were presented, and Chris O’Shea was a recipient of the Best Super Connector Award.
