Now in its third and final year, the 2018 Game Changers Awards Gala, taking place on October 17, recognizes exceptional businesses and individuals that demonstrate leadership in hiring youth (young professionals ages 20-29), providing experiential learning opportunities, and inspiring other businesses to take action.

We will present three awards in each category for:

  • Small Business/Organization (< 50 employees)

  • Medium Business/Organization (51 - 150 employees)

  • Large Business/Organization (151+ employees)

Awards Process: TD Best Youth Employer and NSCC Experiential Learning

The process of selecting the winners for the TD Best Youth Employer and NSCC Experiential Learning Awards is as follows:

  • Nomination forms in each size category for both awards are evaluated by an internal judging panel. The top ten nominees in each category are selected.

  • An external judging panel (Game Changers private-sector sponsor representatives for TD Best Youth Employer, and Halifax post-secondary partner representatives for NSCC Experiential Learning) will then evaluate the top ten nominees based on the judging criteria.

  • The top three finalists and winners in each category are identified during the second round of judging. While all award nominees are featured and celebrated at the Gala, top three finalists receive special recognition during the Awards Gala in the program and presentation of awards.

  • Top three finalists in each category are notified before the Gala. You will only be notified if you are a finalist.

  • Winners are announced at the Gala.
